Two for Twosday Shoutout: Ward North American Named northAmerican® Van Lines 2021 Move For Hunger Agent of the Year & Thanks to northAmerican Agents for Collecting over 100,000 lbs. of Food for Move For Hunger in 2021

This Twosday northAmerican recognizes our 2021 northAmerican Move For Hunger Agent of the Year - Ward North American Houston - and thanks our entire northAmerican network for helping to collect over 100,000 pounds of food donations for Move For Hunger in 2021.

Today is Twosday, a day that in some ways celebrates the number “2” which represents cooperation and partnership. In this spirit, northAmerican® is proud to make 2 important announcements regarding our partnership with Move For Hunger.

First, we are proud to announce that Ward North American of Houston Texas has been recognized as the northAmerican Van lines 2021 Move For Hunger Agent of the Year. Ward Houston achieved this distinction by transporting 44,998 pounds of food for Move For Hunger in 2021 – the equivalent of 37,498 meals! Congratulations to everyone at Ward North American Houston on this outstanding accomplishment!

Second, thanks to the entire northAmerican agent network for your hard work in supporting Move For Hunger in 2021. You and your teams donated 112,350 pounds of non-perishable food items in 2021, the equivalent of 91,625 meals for those in need. This also means that from October 2011 through 2021, our agent network has donated 654,998 pounds of food, or 545,832 meals, to help fight food insecurity in the U.S. and Canada. One of our chief 2021 initiatives that helped us reach this number was our Great North American Food Drive, a nationwide food drive that we started last year and will be repeating this April. Here are our top 10 agent locations for 2021 by donation amount:

Beltmann Relocation Group/LA: 3,964 (3,303 meals)
Lile Relocation Services/Salem: 2,979 (2,483 meals)
Sterling Corporation: 2,900 (2,417 meals)
Arnoff Moving and Storage/Poughkeepsie: 1,596 (1,330 meals)
David Moving Company: 1,560 (1,300 meals)
Ward North American/San Antonio: 1,516 (1,263 meals)
Ward North American/Austin: 1,360 (1,133 meals)
Beltmann Relocation Group/Parma (Executive Class): 1,211 (1,009 meals)
Mother Lode Van & Storage: 1,196 (997 meals)

So congratulations and thank you again to Ward North American Houston and the entire northAmerican agent network for their hard work with Move For Hunger. Let’s make the 2022 Great North American Food Drive, coming this April, an even bigger success than last year's food drive.
